It is possible to do an internship with FES Ghana. If you are interested, please send us an email with attached CV and cover letter in which you should highlight your motivation to complete internship with us. Kindly send this email to office(at)fesghana.org.
All applicants should have at least a Bachelor’s Degree. Being a social democratic political foundation, we expect the application to be committed to the values of social democracy. Additionally, the applicant should speak very good English. German is an asset.
An internship in our office takes normally at least three months.
A concrete topical area will be assigned to every intern in order to ensure that the intern can work on his/her own project. It is possible and highly welcomed that interns are attending seminars and conferences, write reports and minutes, do internet research as well as conduct all sorts of work which are connected to our daily office work.
Unfortunately, an internship at FES Ghana can not be reimbursed. FES can not compensate or bear the costs for travel, accommodation or catering. All interns from abroad are requested to arrange for an international health care insurance (please send the document to FES Ghana after internship was approved). Please also pay attention the current vaccination requirements (e.g. yellow fever).
We ask for your understanding that due to the high amount of applications, it is not possible for us to send you an email to confirm that we have received your application. If you are not receiving any response, we could not shortlist you for an internship.

Kindly note that internships with FES Ghana are not available at the moment due to the Covid-19 Pandemic.
