FES Ghana Golden Jubilee

Since FES Ghana collaborates with Ghanaian partners, representatives of our partner organisations were in attendance to share in the celebration. Apart from our partners, other civil society groups and well-meaning Ghanaians were present at the ceremony. There was also a delegation from the Government of Ghana led by Honorable Frema Osei Opare (chief of staff). Other notable dignitaries who joined in the celebration were: Hon Christoph Strasser (former German Member of parliament) who gave a statement on behalf of the German Social Democratic Party (SPD) while Honourable Asiedu Nketia (General Secretary of the NDC) headed the delegation from the NDC. The head of FES Africa Department, Dr. Manfred Öhm offered solidarity message on behalf of FES Headquarters. Lastly, H.E Christoph Retzlaff (German Ambassador to Ghana) and Mr. Burkhardt Hellemann (head of Konrad Adenuaer Stiftung) were all present to commemorate FES Ghana’s Golden Jubilee celebration.
