A VISIT TO H.E. JOHN DRAMANI MAHAMA - FORMER PRESIDENT OF GHANA

For over fifty years, the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung has operated in Ghana. As part of its working lines, the foundation has an ongoing relationship with the Trades Union Congress, Parliament of Ghana, CSOs, NGOs, the Academia, and the various political parties - based on the foundation’s core inclination towards the ideals of social democracy, it has a formidable relationship with the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

To further strengthen and deepen the ongoing partnership with the National Democratic Congress, the Resident Director, Mr. Johann Ivanov together with his team of Programmes Coordinators paid a working visit to His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, the former president of Ghana and 2020 flagbearer for the National Democratic Congress on Tuesday, 29th June 2021.

The deliberations primarily touched on the working partnership between the NDC and FES Ghana including conversations on relevant national issues.
